I bought this 2qt. pressure cooker a month or so ago. I used it twice to cook tomatoes for sauce, used once for potato soup. Worked just fine then. Today I went to cook some chicken and it conked out. It worked for a few minutes then stopped, the letter P appeared on the readout. Called Deni and the guy didn’t know what the P meant. Said I should run the water test to see if maybe what I had in there cooking was causing the problem?? So I did..conked out with the water test. I can send it back for replacement but it really irritates me that I have to spend $10 or $15 dollars to do so.
By the way, I was pleasantly shocked to get someone live right away..and in the US..
he did say this 2 qt. was a new model.
I don’t think I would recommend this unless bought at a walk in store instead of online.
It is the perfect size for me. It works just like expected. I plan on using this pressure cooker for many, many years, just like my older electronic version that is just to big for most uses. And it is so cute!
